K Accounting is a Chartered Accounting practice with offices in Tenterfield and Glen Innes. We service a variety of clients from throughout Australia and overseas. We currently looking for two new people to join and continue to grow our current team.

Senior Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a      portfolio of small to medium business clients with multiple entities
  • Prepare      financial statements and tax returns for all types of entities
  • Prepare      individual tax returns during client interviews
  • Respond      to client queries and maintain client relationships
  • Completing      audits of self-managed superannuation funds and non profit organisations
  • Provide      research support to the principal
  • Prepare      tax estimates and tax strategies for clients
  • Mentor      and assist junior accountants

Requirements to Apply:

  • Completed      Bachelor of Commerce/Business Degree, or currently completing similar      studies
  • Minimum      of 5 years’ experience within an Australian accounting practice
  • Excellent      computer skills including knowledge of cloud accounting products
  • Strong      work ethic, proactive attitude and commitment to learn
  • Excellent      written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness      to build strong relationships and develop trust and credibility working in      a team environment
  • A valid      driver’s license as travel between our office will be required


Assistant Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare      financial statements and tax returns for all types of entities
  • Assist      with audits of self-managed superannuation funds and non profit      organisations
  • Provide      research support to the principal
  • Prepare      tax estimates and tax strategies for clients
  • Provide      administration assistance

Requirements to Apply:

  • Minimum      of 12 months experience within an Australian accounting practice
  • Excellent      computer skills
  • Strong      work ethic, proactive attitude and commitment to learn
  • Excellent      written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness      to build strong relationships and develop trust and credibility working in      a team environment
  • A valid      driver’s license as travel between our office will be required
